Public Art Installation in Royal Terrace Gardens, Torquay

Rank Engineering are honoured to have been entrusted to manufacture ten, beautiful light columns, in the Royal Terrace Gardens, along Torquay seafront, which command the Torbay coastline and are a key feature of the English Riviera.  Bespoke fabrication masters, Rank Engineering, worked in conjunction with Drew & Co. and designer Anouk Mercier to realise the concept; with much engineering development and method adaptation along the way.  The public art installations have stunning, feature, laser-cut (Kloeckner) patterns, cut from Grade 316 stainless steel box section, on all 4 sides.  With apertures for the light fittings and powder-coated, outside faces, the unique, delicate, elegant, intrinsic details come to life at Twilight, revealing an array of magnificent, natural features, with a modern, abstract twist… public artwork, truly fit for a Queen and synchronous with the Jubilee celebrations this year, in 2022! #BristolSteel #OxfordSteel #Bespoke #StainlessFabrication #TigWelding #Engineering #SteelFabrication #PublicArtWork #QueensJubilee #RoyalTerraceGardens #RankEngineering #EnglishRiviera #Torquay #Torbay #BespokeSteelFabrications
